NeoTRIPS Quality Improvement National Collaboration for Early Breast Milk

Aim: To see the proportion of infants born <34 weeks gestation who receive breast milk within 6 hours of birth increase to a minimum of 85% in every participating unit by 12 months.

Secondary Aim: via multi-centre collaboration in quality improvement, to improve trainee experience and confidence in QI.
Through bringing together great ideas, enthusiastic people, lived experience, QI expertise and extensive resources, we hope to be able to support trainees to boost national perinatal optimisation efforts through a collaborative and systematic approach.

WHO CAN TAKE PART?
Anyone working in a neonatal unit in the UK can be involved. We are aiming to identify one consultant lead and one paediatric trainee lead at each unit.
